Airport Safety Video

Spruce Creek Pilots,

As you may know, most of our safety issues occur when unbriefed and often uninvited guests use our private runway. To reduce this hazard, the Airport Authority committee has created a very good video to improve pilot knowledge for both guest pilots and resident pilots flying into Spruce Creek.

Please become familiar with our procedures and save the link for future use when inviting a guest to use our runway. Please realize that all guests must have a specific invitation by a member of the POA to use the runway and that a guest registration must be completed by the POA member responsible for inviting the guest  prior to their arrival. This new version of our map provides a clear illustration of roadways and taxiways in Spruce Creek and is especially useful to those unfamiliar with Spruce Creek. It clearly identifies areas to avoid, and which taxiways require commercial vehicles to have a security escort.
