EAA 288 Taxi-In

EAA Chapter 288 will conduct its annual “Taxi-In” on 21 March 2026. The event happens on Cessna Blvd and consists of an airplane show presented by the Spruce Creek EAA 288 Chapter Members. The airplanes are of various types; new, gently used, production and home-built Experimental. Our oldest airplane was built in 1928; our newest airplane is not yet finished. All residents are welcome to attend and view the planes.
The location of the display will be on the eastern end of taxi-way Cessna, stretching westward toward the big tree. Last year we had over 77 airplanes, and we expect more this year.
The chapter will begin moving their airplanes to the taxiway at 11:30 AM on Saturday, 21 March. Airplanes will be in place by 12:30 and will be displayed until 2 PM. There will be golf cart parking on the road beside the commercial hangars, (Golf Carts are not authorized on the taxiway where the airplanes will be displayed). Access for cart parking is along the north vehicle road of Cessna, away from the aircraft, from Seclusion through Serria taxiway. Members can easily walk to the displays from the Fly in Café. Golf cart parking will be available along the northern edge of Cessna and at the big tree.
Safety is paramount, there will be aircraft marshallers to monitor airplane and visitor movements. Be alert and stay clear of airplanes and other visitors. Please follow marshaller’s directions.
