Airport Taxiways

We are a community surrounding an airport. The aircraft on the taxiways have the right of way over: cars, trucks, golf carts, pedestrians, bicyclists, scooters, and anyone else. If you see a vehicle interfering with an aircraft's taxi, call Security at (386) 756-6125. Even though pilots have the right of way, taxi very slowly due to the cars, trucks, golf carts, pedestrians, bicyclists, and scooters.
For any non- pilots reading this: when an aircraft is approaching, pull over to a parking pad or driveway and stop. The pilot needs to know that you will not be a hazard. Even if you think that you are not a problem if you drive alongside the edge of the taxiway while paralleling the aircraft, there may be an intersection the pilot needs to use. The pilot will have to stop hard when you blithely cross in front of him. PULL OVER AND STOP. Please do not drive around an aircraft that is being repositioned; when you drive on that pilot's lawn you may break their sprinklers. The speed limit on all taxiways and ramp areas is 15 mph. Aircraft always have the right of way.
Spruce Creek Airport has approximately 8 miles of taxiways depicted here in black and gray. Lindy Loop, Delta, Echo, Tony, and Aces Alley taxiways are gray denoting dual use (vehicle and aircraft) where AIRCRAFT HAVE THE RIGHT OF WAY. Black taxiways are for AIRCRAFT use only.
